Bridge of Life School is a not-for-profit organization providing free educational and community-based programming based on community input and need as well as our own organizational capabilities. We do this through a Khmer-led, community-supported approach. Through our programming we are able to build bridges to opportunities previously unavailable, such as meaningful employment in the tourism economy, and solve critical problems that are still unresolved, like clean water in the villages.
A local organization run by Khmers for the benefit of Khmers. Our staff come from and have a direct relationship to the communities where we work.
An independent non-profit that does not receive government funding. We develop our own programs and support beneficiaries who participate on their own accord.
Open to new ideas and strategies. Our approach is grassroots — we try new things, sometimes make mistakes, but learn from them and adjust along the way.
We value community ownership and strive for long-term financial independence by partnering with local social enterprises that fund our programming.
